Well-established architectural millwork and casework manufacturer located in Atlantic County, New Jersey, is expanding and is seeking an experienced Lead Draftsperson for an immediate full-time opening.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of AutoCAD experience preferred.

General construction knowledge as it pertains to millwork.

CNC Programming/AlphaCAM experience helpful.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Able to read Blueprints, contract documents, and scopes of work to set up each individual job as required.
• Be able to identify any missing information to form a request for clarification if need be.
• Create & produce accurate detailed fabrication drawings for the client that outline the scope of work that we have been contracted to produce. These drawings will represent internal means and methods of production.
• Set up and arrange sheets accordingly to reflect an accurate and complete detailed drawing.
• Identify and Incorporate material and hardware specifications required into drawings.
• Include all explanatory notes and related information necessary to clarify drawings and provide for accurate interpretation.
• Coordinate all Contract Documents received including Architectural Drawings, Interior Design Drawings, and Contract Schedules and Specifications.
• Produce detailed schedules of doors, trim, etc. as required.
• Produce CAD files that represent detailed parts and components of the products that we will produce. These will be converted to CNC machine language through the use of Alphacam Design Program.
• Maintain a log of drawing submittals and approvals.
