Join our team as a Trade Compliance/FTZ Specialist. This team ensures the accuracy of import data, physical inventory, and customs records. The Trade Compliance/FTZ Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our distribution FTZs, ensuring an optimal flow of merchandise in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate must be aware of all aspects of operating a zone. This position reports to the Trade Compliance Manager. This role is eligible to be based out of the following US locations; Madison, WI, Olney, IL, or Rincon, GA, and is eligible to participate in the company's Hybrid work program; working in the office 3 days and eligible to work remotely 2 days.

Below you will find a few (but not all) of the main responsibilities of the Trade Compliance/FTZ Specialist:
- Serve as internal FTZ operations/process expert.
- Manage daily/weekly FTZ operations end to end, including processing (PTT, I.T.,214,3461,7501 etc.), auditing, and maintaining operational metrics for zone activities.
- Perform daily inventory reconciliation between SAP and the FTZ ICRS software.
- Identify, reconcile, and resolve any issues in a prompt and timely manner.
- Review shipments to determine and advise relevant partners as to processing status (domestic vs foreign).
- Maintain records required for FTZ management in compliance with internal policies and applicable laws and regulations.
- Assign and audit material classifications; Harmonized Tariff Schedule and Schedule B.
- Follow-up and resolve posting messages for filings with CBP (214, 3461 and 7501).
- Identify issues and continuous improvement opportunities. Collaborate with the appropriate departments to resolve issues and address opportunities.
- Partner with the Trade Compliance Manager to ensure FTZ procedures and SOPs are current and accurately reflect the business operations and practices.
- Assist with preparation and filing of quarterly HMF statements, annual board reports, reconciliation reports, and certification letters.
- Participate in continuing education related to international trade, and governmental regulations that may affect the import and export of Pon.Bike products.
Education & Experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in Trade Compliance or International Supply Chain and Logistics.
- Experience using SAP ECC or comparable ERP solution (Oracle).
- Knowledge of practical FTZ regulations & application.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Knowledge of harmonized tariff codes.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel required.
- Willingness and ability to travel to FTZ locations as needed.

- Exposure working with customs brokers.
- Experience working with US Customs and Border Protection.
