Summary
Under the supervision of the Minnie Street and Newport Mesa Family Resource Center (FRC) Program Supervisors, the Community Engagement Facilitator will have the responsibility of coordinating the work of the Community Engagement Advisory Committee (CEAC) and Youth Action Council (YAC), who volunteer their time at both Newport Mesa and Minnie Street Family Resource Centers. The Community Engagement Facilitator oversees the recruitment, organization, and leads the CEAC and YAC members by facilitating meetings, events, and training to work collaboratively to support MSFRC and NMFRC. Additionally, the Community Engagement Facilitator takes part in facilitating the Personal Empowerment Program in the Family Resource Centers to provide survivors of domestic violence with the education and empowerment to decrease and/or prevent abuse in intimate relationships. This position will work from the Minnie Street and the Newport Mesa FRCs.
