Hopewell Township (Cumberland County) is accepting applications for a full time Deputy Municipal Clerk / Register of Vital Statistics.

Education, Experience, Skill Requirements / Job Description:

Individuals must have strong communication, computer, interpersonal, and organizational skills and will report directly to the Clerk/Administrator. Duties include, but are not limited to: interaction with the public, meeting preparation and attendance, OPRA requests, dog licensing, vital statistics and additional duties as needed for the Township. Must be able to work independently. Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required. Basic knowledge of Edmunds software will be given preference. Applicants with RMC and CMR certifications preferred, but applicants who are able to obtain certifications will be considered. Associates degree or above will be given preference. Applicant must be organized, efficient, responsive, and able to speak effectively to individuals or groups and manage multiple tasks. Work is typically performed in an office setting and is subject to pressure from deadlines. Irregular schedules including night meetings, election days hours, and other events (Rabies Clinic, community event day, etc.) are common. Salary commensurate with qualifications, education level, and experience.

Background check and drug testing is required for employment.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
