Westin Trading, Inc. is an established grocery distribution company based in St. Louis, MO.

With a nationwide customer base, we ship product throughout the USA.

We are currently seeking an effective person to join our transportation team to assist with the shipment of our loads. We ship truckload and LTL shipments throughout the U.S. of grocery products.

Previous experience in the transportation or freight brokerage industry is required.

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.

Office Hours: MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 7:30 AM TO 4:30 PM.
WEEKENDS & MAJOR HOLIDAYS OFF.

Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments.
• Assist with Track & Trace of loads.
• Assist with carrier "set up" paperwork.
• "Build" loads in company freight system.
• Verifying pickup and delivery information.
• Assist with any special projects as requested.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of DAT and ITS load boards is helpful
• Need to be able to multi-task effectively.
• Excellent follow through and follow up.
• Organized and detail orientated.
• Effectively communicate with team members and carriers.
• Good phone skills.
