Traffic Clerk, Sr. jobs in Baton Rouge, LA

We are immediately hiring a Traffic Clerk to work at BP, the chemical plant in Port Allen, LA. 

Requirements for this position include:

• Must have 2 or more years of SAP experience
• Previous or relevant experience as a traffic clerk or dispatch clerk responsible for scheduling logistics activities with drivers and freight transporters
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Outlook
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational Skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ensures that deliveries/shipments are in compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
• Establish and maintain records, such as, inventory, material control, accounting, and supply reports
• Review and verify quantities received against bills of lading, purchase requests, and shipping documents
• Maintain stock locator system and administer document control procedures

The shift for this position is rotating, between one week of 6:30am -3pm then one week of 2:30pm - 11pm. 

Passing the drug test and a background check are requirements of the job.

Pay:  The pay rate is $24.00 per hour. 

 MUST

• Be on time for your shift
• Pass drug/alcohol test and background check
• Have a valid Driver's License or ID
• Have a current TWIC card
