Traffic Manager develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. Selects appropriate delivery methods to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Being a Traffic Manager analyzes, handles, and reviews loss and damage claims caused by accidents. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Traffic Manager typically reports to a director. The Traffic Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     We are seeking ROCKSTAR'S to serve as Traffic Control Technicians throughout the Pembroke Pines/Miami area. STS can promise you an environment that not only encourages your best, but also rewards it with plenty of room to grow!

    What you will do as a Traffic Control Technician:

    Our traffic control technicians are the lifeline of our organization. You will be trained and certified as a Flagger by FDOT standards (No experience necessary).

    • Set up and maintain Traffic Control Work Zones (roads, highways, film sets) to meet customer and DOT needs.
    • Work with an awesome team to ensure proper work zone coverage and safety awareness for all moving or stationary objects.

    What you’ll bring:

    • **MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE**
    • Must be able to read and write English
    • MUST BRING 2 FORMS ID.
    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Open to flexible work hours
    • Willing to undergo a pre-employment screening (We are a Second Chance Employer)

    Physical Demands:

    • Regularly required to drive in the company work vehicles to job sites. May be prolonged sitting.
    • Activities require a significant amount of standing.
    • Able to lift 25 – 50 lbs.
    • Occasionally walk job sites in the field.
    • Pulling, repeated bending, kneeling, and reaching.
    • Simultaneous and coordinated use of operating a vehicle.
    • Pushing & pulling weight of maximum weight 30 pounds.

    Working Environment:

    • Ability to work around moving objects or vehicles.
    • Frequently standing outside in the field in different weather conditions.
    • Working with moving vehicles.
    • Exposure to heat in an outside environment.

    • 10 hour shift
