Training Assistant jobs in San Antonio, TX
Training Assistant is responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and organizational development programs. Schedules training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details. Being a Training Assistant processes enrollments and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations. Uses an information system or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs and instructors. Additionally, Training Assistant coordinates additional services including technical equipment, meals and refreshments, housekeeping, maintenance or repairs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Training Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Being professional at all times is a must
- Administering feeding and medication
- Cleaning kennels when needed
- Answering emails and phone calls from potential new clients in a timely manner.
- Utilizing balanced training methods that will be oversought by head trainer
- Putting on and taking off collars and leashes.
- Cleaning and sanitizing facility throughout the day.
- Bathing dogs.
- Identifying dog behaviors
- Give dogs Potty Breaks
- Attending community events
- Updating owners on progress while noting and taking pictures of dogs progress
- Working one on one with individual dogs and their owners
- Learning and recognizing dog behaviors

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- MUST be willing to not only train but assist in other areas of Patriot Dog Training
- MUST live in the San Antonio Area
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
