Training Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate training programs aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company. Collaborates with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs. Being a Training Director develops a program delivery schedule that provides training as needed and in locations that work for the participants. Provides engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training. Additionally, Training Director approves new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Oversees and establishes relationships with vendors to provide additional outside training programs. Manages and develops training professionals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Training Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Training Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     POSITION KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design and implement onboarding, training systems and processes
    • Train, coach, and develop both new and existing members of our team while tracking progress; Set goals and help the team achieve them
    • Implementing and updating changes to systems and processes in order to improve team efficiency and guest experience
    • Ensure continuous execution of food safety standards and a commitment to excellence with guests
    • Hold team members accountable to all Chick-fil-A standards, policies, and procedures; ensure proper coaching, and disciplinary actions when necessary
    • Provide clear, kind, and consistent communication and feedback
    • Think strategically for the business; collaborating, adjusting, and propelling the business to reach goals
    • Be a source of encouragement and positivity for the team, acting as a cheerleader and celebrating wins big and small
    • Engage with, challenge, and motivate the team to accomplish difficult and hard-to-reach goals while inspiring those around them to have fun and build life-impacting relationships with the team and guests
    • Uphold a culture of striving for excellence
    • Meet regularly with Leadership Team and the Owner/Operator for continued training and personal development, as well as to execute the overall vision and grow the overall success of the restaurant
    • Uphold the Chick-fil-A standards and policies

    COMPETENCIES/SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE NEEDED

    • 2 years of management experience with proven positive results
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Have a “Food Safety First” Mindset
    • Proven leadership experience - have led and developed teams
    • Organized, detail-oriented with a strong sense of follow-through
    • Results-oriented and able to work in a very fast-paced, high-stress environment

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
