Training Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate training programs aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company. Collaborates with functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training and development needs as well as effectiveness of established programs. Being a Training Director develops a program delivery schedule that provides training as needed and in locations that work for the participants. Provides engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training. Additionally, Training Director approves new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Oversees and establishes relationships with vendors to provide additional outside training programs. Manages and develops training professionals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Training Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Training Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and execution of comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and performance of our team members across all levels.

    Position: QSR Director of Training

    Location: IN, KY, OH or MI based

    Responsibilities:

    · Develop and implement onboarding programs for new team members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles and foster a positive work environment.

    · Design and execute long-term development strategies to support the growth and career progression of team members, including leadership development initiatives.

    · Lead the training efforts for marketing rollouts, ensuring team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively promote and execute new menu items, promotions, and initiatives.

    · Identify opportunities for skill enhancement and create training modules to address gaps in performance or areas for improvement.

    · Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to track training effectiveness, employee progress, and performance metrics.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Human Resources, to align training initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.

    · Conduct customer experience training programs to ensure that team members deliver exceptional service and create memorable experiences for our guests.

    · Lead team-wide meetings and workshops to communicate updates, share best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

    Qualifications:

    · Hospitality Management, or related field

    · Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within the QSR industry.

    · Proven track record of designing and implementing successful training programs that drive results and improve employee performance.

    · Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training evaluation methods.

    · Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.

    · Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing a team of trainers or training coordinators.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
