Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Negotiates vendor pricing, terms, and quotes for supplies, services, equipment, and materials for all levels of the company (Rentals and Services divisions) while adhering to purchasing policies, processes and procedures as required
• Issues and closes out Purchase Orders in financial software program
• Prepares requisitions for approval
• Applies coding and costing for the company’s monthly corporate credit card
• Negotiates and schedules travel for company employees as required
• Any additional duties as assigned by office management

Requirements

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Advance degree in Business or Finance preferred
• 1-3 years’ experience in purchasing function required
• Must have strong negotiation, resourcing and problem solving skills
• Must have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multitask
• Advanced computer skills especially Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Outlook; Paylocity and WinWard software experience preferred

Physical Qualifications:

• Lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
• Bending, stooping and ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
• Lift and organize files, office equipment and supplies in cabinets and storage boxes
