MTC is now hiring for a full-time Water and Waste Maintenance Technician at the Otero County Prison located in Chaparral, New Mexico, who performs a variety of duties involving water treatment equipment.

Essential functions:

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Technical training and general knowledge of repair/maintenance of water treatment plant and wastewater plant, plus three (3) years related experience required and 50 training credit hours or the equivalent as outlined in the State of New Mexico Utility Operator Certification Manual dated November 2007.
• Valid driver’s license in the State of Texas or New Mexico with an acceptable driving record required unless waived by management.
