Job Title: Telecommunication Lineman

Job Description: A Telecommunication Lineman is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the infrastructure for telecommunications networks. Telecommunication Linemen work on utility poles or underground systems to install and repair cables, wires, and other equipment. They may also troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity and perform regular maintenance checks. Attention to detail, physical stamina, and technical skills are important for this role.

Job Overview:

As a Telecommunications Lineman at [Elite Technician Management Group], you will be a crucial part of our team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mainline telecommunications infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the quality and reliability of telecommunications services provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Install Telecommunications Equipment:** Set up and install telecommunications equipment, including fiber-optic and coaxial cables and other network components, ensuring proper configuration and connectivity.

2. **Maintenance and Repairs:** Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on existing telecommunications infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Also maintain all company work vehicles and help with any minor repairs needed on company vehicles and machines

3. **Network Testing:** Conduct thorough testing and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues related to signal quality, data speed, and network reliability.

4. **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment, especially when working with equipment or in confined spaces.

5. **Documentation:** Maintain detailed records of work performed, including equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and service reports on bucket trucks and work vehicles.

6. **Collaboration:** Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects and the resolution of technical challenges.

7. **Customer Support:** Provide support to customers by addressing service-related inquiries and assisting with technical issues.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certification or degree in telecommunications, electronics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in telecommunications infrastructure installation and maintenance is a plus.
- Proficiency in using telecommunications testing equipment and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
