Please note: This is a contract position only. It is not Full-Time or Part-Time. It is for as long as services are needed, per the contractual timeline.

Imua Family Services is looking for hourly contractor positions for individuals who can interpret one or more of the following: Spanish, Tagalog, Ilocano, Marshallese, Chuukese and Pohnpeian. Must currently reside on Maui. This individual will support and assist in the translation of the Infant & Child Development Program staff (ICDP). This position reports to the Clinical Director.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience with 1 to 5 years related work experience and/or training.
2. Valid drivers' license
3. Car insurance for use of a registered vehicle
4. Current and clean driver's abstract
5. Clear Criminal Background
6. Clear Child Protective Background
7. Current TB clearance
8. First Aid Certification
9. CPR Certification

Exceptions to these qualifications based on combination of education and experience requirements may be approved by the Executive Director upon receipt of approval by the appropriate State of Hawaii agency.

Skills

• Must be able to interpret with fidelity (no tool or proof provided)
• Must be willing to view all required training videos for early intervention.
