Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design transportation projects using Autocad and Civil3D software. 2. Develop and implement project plans, including cost estimates, schedules, and specifications. 3. Coordinate with various departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects. 4. Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for proposed transportation projects. 5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including DOT and ODOT standards. 6. Monitor the progress of projects and make necessary adjustments to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. 7. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members. 8. Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders. 9. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the field of transportation engineering.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be an added advantage. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in transportation engineering, including experience with DOT and ODOT standards. 3. Proficiency in using Autocad and Civil3D software for designing transportation systems and infrastructure. 4. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. 5. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with people at all levels. 8. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation engineering. 9. Ability to conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments. 10.
