    The Transportation Engineer must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

    Job Details

    Responsibilities:
    • Planning, designing, and managing transportation engineering projects.
    • Performing detailed design work using CADD for the creation of plans, specifications, and estimates related to roadway design.
    • Conducting feasibility studies to evaluate the potential impact of proposed transportation projects.
    • Developing and implementing traffic management systems to improve the efficiency of transportation networks.
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
    • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation engineering.
    • Preparing technical reports and presenting findings to stakeholders and clients.
    • Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
    • Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in transportation engineering and incorporating them into your work.

    Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
    • A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is required.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Proficiency in CADD and other engineering software.
    • Solid understanding of transportation engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
