Non-Emergency Driver

Job Description

The Non-Emergency Driver is responsible for transporting our clients in a timely and safe manners to their medical and non-medical appointments. This individual will work closely with the transportation coordinator to ensure all rides are completed accurately and all clients are safely at home after each appointment.

Responsibilities

-Be on time.

-Communicate with our Transportation Coordinator to understand all appointments for the day and use transportation app on your smartphone to see your rides, times and locations for the day.

-Making sure the safety of our clients comes first.

-Be nice and kind to our clients.

-Assist the clients in and out of the vehicle. You may have wheelchair clients who will need to be loaded into the vehicle and properly secured in the van.

-Make sure our clients are safely buckle in their seatbelt.

-Maintain vehicle cleanliness.

-Assist other drivers when needed.

-Do not speed on the road.

-Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator.

Qualifications

-Drivers license.

-Must have excellent customer service skills.

-Safe driving record.

-Safety conscience.

-Positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
