SERVICE / PRODUCTION MANAGER
Sierra Truck Body & Equipment in Las Vegas, NV is looking to hire a skilled and experienced Service/Production Manager to direct and oversee the production of custom-built work truck bodies and equipment, while exceeding customer quality and delivery expectations.
This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm, additional hours or weekend as needed or required.
Since 1999 Sierra Truck Body & Equipment has been the premier provider of commercial truck body equipment, accessories, upfits & repairs in the Las Vegas area. We are proud to provide equipment & support to most local municipalities & utility companies as well as commercial truck dealerships. We are most excited for our latest expansion, In Q2 of 2024 we plan to move into our custom-built state of the art facility that will allow us to continue to grow our operation and service area.
WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AS A SERVICE/PRODUCTION MANAGER
In this role, you will oversee and monitor the performance of our production & service department as it relates to production, quality, safety, and cost control. You’ll support, motivate and guide production staff members. Perform regular workplace inspections, conduct regular safety meetings with staff, reporting all accidents, incidents, and conduct violations for investigation and conclusion. Our Service/Production Managers are required to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality. You will be required to work directly with our internal parts and sales teams to ensure efficient production and customer satisfaction, at times there will be meetings with end users to ensure their standards are being met. To be a successful Service/Production Manager, you will need to have excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize job duties.
