Part-Time Assistant Registrar

Life Chiropractic College West 

Location: Hayward, CA

Position Details: 

• Salary Range: $20-22/hour 
• Part-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt 
• 29 hours per week 
• Partially remote position 

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

• Manage the Excused Absence and Overcut process
• Assist with the processing of all transcript and licensing requests 
• Complete verification of enrollment requests (including Federally Funded Loan Deferments)
• Assist in preparation of individual state licensure application documents
• Assist with diploma processing and mailing
• Respond to all email and phone correspondence with students, staff, faculty, and the community
• Assist with student registration requests (adds and drops) and student demographic updates (address, phone, email)
• Assist in compilation of reports
• General clerical tasks: faxing, copying, filing, shredding, and scanning
• National Boards - application processing
• Update and maintain “Information Boards” for the Registrar’s Office
• Other duties as assigned by the Registrar 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor Degree Preferred
• 2 years administrative work experience
• Higher Education experience preferred
• CAMS SIS experience preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Required computer skills: Basic experience with MS Office, databases and spreadsheets
• Type minimum of 45 wpm with high degree of accuracy
• Works well with interruptions in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure
• Self-directed worker with consistent attendance
• Knowledge of FERPA regulations
