We are assisting an award-winning hospital system for a full-time Ultrasound Tech in Nashua, NH. This role comes with shift/weekend differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary

• Operates medical imaging equipment that directs high-frequency sound waves to anatomy for diagnostic purposes.
• Responsible for choosing the correct settings and directing the patient to move into positions that will offer the best view.
• Obtain high-quality imaging for Radiologist interpretation.
• General understanding of Picture Archive Communication System and its function.
• Documents patient care services by charting inpatient and hospital records.
• Able to interact compassionately and effectively.
• Ability to utilize specialized computerized equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid Radiologists in diagnosing diseases and/or disorders.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or certificate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program
• Certification in specialty area by the ARDMS preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33.00 - $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
