Remote - Field Underwriter

  • The Hoffmann Agency, a partner of Symmetry Financial Group, is looking for driven individuals to become a part of our team and help in protecting families across the nation with various forms of life insurance, mortgage protection, retirement solutions and financial advisement.

    *This is a commission based sales position with uncapped commission being paid daily.*

    • Part-Time Agent: 15-20 hours per week and have the potential to make $50,000-$90,000 in the first year
    • Full Time Agent: 30-35 hours per week and have the potential to make $120,000-$200,000 in the first year
    • Agency Owners are able to generate a system-driven income of $200,000-$500,000 per year

    There is opportunity for agents to advance within the company obtain contractual ownership of their own agency if they choose to do so.

    Best in-class bonuses and travel incentives are available to both new and seasoned agents.

    • Provide one-on-one mentorship to all agents

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to obtain life/health insurance license in your respective state (license not required for hire)

What does an Underwriter do?

Underwriter
Evaluates new business submissions, renewals, and policy change requests for their book of business resulting in underwriting decisions within their authority or recommendations for decisions exceeding their authority.

Assists the Quality Control Department and the Post-Closing Department in obtaining missing documentation needed in order to render a loan saleable in the secondary market.

Provides primary communication and direction for all processing requirements including policy issuance instruction, endorsement requests, billing requirements and audit review.

Demonstrates continual learning by attending industry seminars, webinars and other training programs.

Review and evaluate loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards, federal and agency standards and guidelines, as well as any applicable state-specific and or local regulations, ordinances, etc.
