Blue Beacon, Inc. is seeking a candidate to join our MIS team as a PC Technician with the ability to perform standard break-fix triage for hardware and software on end user systems. This full-time position provides a desk-side support work environment utilizing Windows Operating Systems. The candidate must have proven experience responding to incoming service requests and be able to resolve technical issues in a timely manner. The items listed below are illustrations of the work that may be performed.

• Setting up new computer systems and installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the software
• Repairing hardware as necessary including printers, scanners, multifunction devices, and mobile devices
• Testing, troubleshooting, and implementing new software programs, specifically Microsoft operating systems and applications
• Providing technical assistance and identifying solutions
• Participation in onboarding for new employees and providing technical training
• Assisting in the monitoring and configuration of security end points and ensuring that the security software is up-to-date and running
• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing cabling and wireless devices
• Performing administrative duties as needed: management of user/operational forms and inventory records
• Triaging incoming service requests and work order and responding to technical hardware, software, and user problems

Good verbal skills that provide comprehensive answers to computer related questions are required. The candidate must have the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members and management. The ability to work with a team of support technicians and administrators is required.
