The Coordinator of Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) is accountable and responsible for managing and demonstrating leadership skills in the systems management of practice and/or operations issues. These activities should ensure appropriate outcomes and efficient, effective team processes, guiding activities of the area, including but not limited to the staff, environment, and patients.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited program with a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
Licensure: Current MS RN license, temporary permit (valid for 90 days) or compact license for same.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse or three (3) years of management or supervisory experience.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Competency in team building skills with accountability to those teams. Ability to effect change by assuming leadership roles in interdisciplinary team and supporting the growth and development of team members. Ability to communicate and collaborate with physicians, staff, and community to meet the patient needs for the area of management. Good written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing. College courses in management and organizational behavior.
Licensure: N/A
Experience: One (1) year charge nurse experience.
