- This position is highly Client-focused. The ideal candidate must have excellent phone presence, as well as a professional, personable demeanor, while onsite. This person must show timely communication and organization, both internally and externally.
This position will be focused on:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced techs
- Design and deploy network solutions
- Design and deploy server solutions
- Conduct advanced troubleshooting for O365 issues
- Offer advanced support for Active Directory
- Provide advanced support for Windows 10/11
- Provide Advanced support for MacOS
- Advanced Server, Cloud, and Networking Support and Troubleshooting
- Advanced Small Project Implementations
- Take action to remediate security threats and compromised accounts
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience
- Proficient in both oral and written communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional Organizational Skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Ability to build a rapport with clients
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast=paced environment while managing multiple tasks concurrently
- Proven experience in mentoring technical team members
- Must live in or near Grand Rapids, Michigan
- Ability to travel to clients for on-site support
Ability to support the following:
- Current versions of Microsoft Windows desktop OS
- Current versions of Microsoft Office
- Current versions of Microsoft Windows Server and related technology
- Active Directory
- Exchange/Office 365
- Group policies and security permissions
- Remote Desktop services
- SQL Server
- Virtual Server Infrastructure
- Networking devices and related technology
- Firewalls
- Routers
- Switches
- Wireless access points
- Network security cameras
Applicants with any of the following will be given preference:
- Prior employment:
- History working in an environment supporting multiple customer network
- Experience entering and processing issues in a help desk support system
- Windows scripting experience using Powershell
- Certifications:
- Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, MCSE)
- Comptia A , Network , Security
- Cisco CCNA
- VMWare VCP
