Analyzes and resolves problems associated with server hardware/software and applications software and ensures scalability and appropriate integration with other systems. Being an UNIX Systems Administrator detects, diagnoses, and reports UNIX related problems on both UNIX server and UNIX desktop systems. Responsible for backup or recovery procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Configure, maintain, and optimize the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
· Collaborate closely with various business units to ensure the ERP system meets the business needs effectively.
· Serve as the main point of contact for technical support.
· Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to streamline business processes.
· Exercise independent judgment to analyze and diagnose application-related problems and issues.
· Administer and maintain the ERP system, including user access, security settings, and system configurations.
· Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of the ERP system.
· Conduct regular system audits to ensure data security & integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
· Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides, standard operating procedures, and configuration details.
· Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and migrations in coordination with business teams.
· Coordinate with internal & external resources and consultants for system integrations, upgrades, and support as needed.
· Provision new users and provide basic training to new employees on system usage.
· Train end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and new features.
· Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in ERP technologies to recommend improvements and optimizations.
· Effectively communicates with internal team members and end users to ensure clear and prompt delivery of solutions.
· Provides superior customer service to all system users.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Strong understanding of ERP systems
· Experience in ERP implementation, management, and 3rd party integrations in complex environments
· Experience managing stakeholder expectations across multiple projects with competing priorities
· Creative problem-solver who is skilled at overcoming obstacles and solutions around key business problems
· Proven ability to design and implement new processes within systems and facilitate user adoption
· Excellent project management skills and skilled cross-functional collaborator
· Experience with other platforms, such as Salesforce, a plus
· Experience with Advantzware ERP or other corrugated manufacturing ERP a plus
· Agile and adaptable to changing circumstances
· Ability to work independently and collaborate
