    Research and Quality Assurance (RQA) Lead Researcher

    The SWAN RQA Lead Researcher develops and implements research and evaluation efforts within the SWAN Prime Contract. This includes collaborating with the leadership team to analyze data and make recommendations for refinements to the SWAN Program. The Lead Researcher will participate in many facets of SWAN research including the development of data plans, data gathering, and evaluation and analysis of outputs and outcomes. The goal of the Lead Researcher is to assimilate the research processes and information into a story telling format that can be readily understood.

    What You Will Contribute

    • Oversight of research projects to achieve impact and enhance Diakon/Voce’s and SWAN’s reputation for excellence.
    • Collaboration with technical assistance staff to develop, implement, and track quality improvement indicators.
    • Development of proposals for new research projects that promote permanency.
    • Partner with community stakeholders to identify and develop evaluation projects.
    • Conduct Quality Assurance activities using outcome-based management (OBM) principles.
    • Collaboration with outside research entities, such as an academic institution, for support of Evidence-based Practice (EBP).
    • Other duties as assigned.

    What It Takes To Succeed

    • Minimum Master's Degree in social work, human services, research or related field is required.
    • Five years' experience in human services or child welfare is required.
    • Five years’ experience conducting research and evaluation as well as quality assurance activities is preferred.
    • One year of supervisory experience is preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of the SWAN Program and Units of Service.
    • Experience utilizing statistical software.
    • Proficiency in program evaluation, research methodology, descriptive statistics, quality assurance and data presentation.
    • A valid driver’s license.
