User Liaison serves as a liaison between systems personnel and end users, such as a client or business unit. Provides systems analysis to ensure the needs of the user are met. Being a User Liaison may assist in system implementation or training. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, User Liaison typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a User Liaison typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to serve as a temporary liaison between our Warehouse Receiving and Accounts Payable departments. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure accurate matching of receiving documentation to invoices and to scan these documents into our accounting system for timely processing by the Accounts Payable department. This position can be either part-time or full-time and provides an excellent opportunity for high school students enrolled in the BAP (Business and Accounting Program) to gain valuable experience and exposure to business operations and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
· Match receiving documents to corresponding invoices with precision and attention to detail.
· Scan and upload matched documents into the accounting system efficiently.
· Working between the receiving and accounting teams to track down any missing documentation.
· Working to resolve any discrepancies between receiving documentation and invoicing.
· Collaborate closely with both the Receiving and Accounts Payable departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
· Maintain an organized filing system for easy retrieval and reference of documents.
· Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support the departments.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or currently enrolled in a high school with an interest in business or accounting experience.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude.
· Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
· Position will require proper attire for working between the production floor and the office.
Preferred Skills
· Experience with scanning and document management systems.
· Exposure to Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
