    Job Responsibilities:

    • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor, interpret, and implement federal, state, and local regulations governing property casualty insurance. Stay abreast of changes in regulations and assess their impact on company policies and procedures.
    • Policy Development: Collaborate with internal  stakeholders to develop and update policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with the pricing of the product and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes drafting, reviewing, and revising insurance policies to align with company objectives and legal standards.
    • State Filings: Prepare and submit rate filings and regulatory filings, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory  agencies. Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and corrective actions taken.
    • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
    • Audit and Monitoring: Perform regular audits and reviews of company practices, processes, and documentation to ensure      compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement corrective  actions as needed.
    • Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
    • Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of products and services offered by the company to ensure they meet regulatory standards and customer expectations. Investigate and address any compliance-related complaints or issues raised by customers or regulatory agencies.
    • Compliance Monitoring Technology: Utilize compliance monitoring technology and tools to streamline compliance processes, track regulatory changes, and manage compliance activities efficiently.

    Requirements

      

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in compliance or risk management is a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory  compliance within the property casualty insurance industry.
    • Thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing property casualty insurance.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and assess their impact on business operations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance monitoring software.
