Job Description
Summary: Responsible for assisting SVP Compliance Officer in the executive of regulatory standards related to banking rules and regulations. This includes maintaining the vendor management program.
Job Requirements:- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience.
- Requires a minimum of three years’ experience in vendor management and compliance support with a commercial bank or a related financial services company.
- Must be process and detail oriented.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to interact professionally, build rapport and have an impact across all levels of the organization.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Requires extensive knowledge of vendor management processes.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of third-party relationships includes manage and control risk of vendor relationship
- Evaluate the third party’s financial condition at least annually.
- Complete vendor security assessments.
- Evaluate all new vendor relationships.
- Requires experience with building databases to support reporting processes.
- Stays current with changes regarding BSA/AML, OFAC, PATRIOT Act, and Customer Identification; determines effect of such laws and regulations on Bank policies, procedures and practices and recommends/ implements changes.
- Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the Bank’s compliance function; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
