We're seeking an experienced Manager of Industry Relations to serve as a key liaison between our client (a leading travel host agency) and industry partners. This role focuses on strategic partnership development, relationship management, and revenue growth within the travel sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with preferred travel industry partners including cruise lines, tour operators, and destination marketing organizations
- Lead contract negotiations and secure optimal partnership terms
- Create and execute annual marketing and advertising plans with suppliers
- Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics and sales data
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive sales growth and resolve escalated customer issues
- Attend industry events and maintain strong industry presence
Requirements
- Proven travel industry experience
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Experience with supplier sales data reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives
- Willingness to travel for industry events and partner meetings
