Vendor Quality Control Analyst jobs in Portsmouth, OH
Vendor Quality Control Analyst evaluates vendor operations, products, and services for compliance with government and company quality standards. Conducts audits and testing of products, materials, and processes to measure effectiveness and compliance with company expectations. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst analyzes and monitors metrics and KPIs to suggest improvement initiatives. Works with vendors and identifies alternative vendors to mitigate risks and resolve problems. Additionally, Vendor Quality Control Analyst assists with drafting and negotiating service-level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are adequately defined. Prepares reports and updates on vendor status and quality. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Vendor Quality Control Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. United Talent is currently seeking General Laborers at a Steel Galvanizing Facility in Greenup, Kentucky who are hardworking and motivated! Applicants who are interested must be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time and be able to lift over 80 pounds throughout their shift.
Job Duties, not limited to :
- Unload incoming steel from delivery trucks using a forklift!
- Rack steel beams by hand, forklift, or overhead crane.
- Operate galvanizer while wearing protective gear.
- Unbundle beams for crane using clippers while wearing proper PPE
- Bundle beams using a bundling machine.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time in all-weather elements.
- Must be hard working and motivated
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds throughout an8,10, or 12 hour shift.
- Must wear all PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel toed boots, long sleeved shirts, arm covers, and jeans in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to work any shift.
