    Work Environment
    The selected candidate will work onsite in our Oklahoma City Corporate Office

    The JV Auditor is responsible for the preparation of various complex financial analyses related to the client organization’s operations. These include being responsible for the oversight and reconciliation of financial transactions between partnering entities in the Upstream, Midstream, and E&P energy industries.

    Audits are approached in a team model with 2 – 4 team members working together in a conference room “war room” style – meals, snacks, and other provisions provided! The team will have a division of duties such as managing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with joint venture agreements. At times you will be a team member. Other times, you will lead the audit.

    This role will provide the chosen candidate with the unique opportunity to strengthen and advance their specialized skillset in JV auditing while working on challenging, complex, and rewarding projects in the Oil and Gas industry.

    Essential Duties:

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements for joint venture entities in the Oil & Gas industry.
    • Coordinate with your joint venture team members to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial data.
    • Compile audit queries, report on findings, and follow up on audit results including tracking audit adjustments on partner billings to ensure proper credits have been received.
    • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures for joint venture entities. • Identify and report on financial risks and opportunities related to joint venture entities.
    • Ensure compliance with joint venture agreements.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations.
    • Contribute to the preparation of the company’s Monthly and Quarterly reporting.
    • Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as requested by the leadership team.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree complemented with 3-7 years of related industry experience in joint venture auditing.
    • Must possess proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in an environment that is highly reactive to unique clients’ needs and much less process-driven.
    • Success is driven by critical thinking skills and a knack for putting together the puzzle of each audit.
    • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the use of other software.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment are essential.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $78,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
