Country View Animal Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

We’re searching for Veterinary Assistants who have 1 years of current, hands-on veterinary experience. Individuals who are committed to a career in veterinary medicine with interest in growth and ongoing training are highly encouraged to apply.

This is a part-time or full-time position comprised of 11-hour shifts, M-F. We’re offering an hourly rate of $17 - $19 (based on experience) in addition to career growth potential and weekends off!

Responsibilities:

• Taking patient histories
• Assisting in exams
• Anesthesia monitoring
• Injection and medication administration
• Gentle patient restraint
• Pharmacy duties
• Blood draws
• IVC placement
• Outpatient procedures
• General hospital cleaning
• Client service and communication
• Assisting the front desk as needed
