The Vice President of Accounting is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions for NOCO LLC, its subsidiaries and affiliates. The VP is responsible for determining the Company’s accounting policies, shall interpret GAAP as related to the Company’s operations and shall lead the implementation of complex accounting activities. The VP of Accounting shall also oversee the Company’s billing and revenue cycle to ensure that all sales invoices are recorded timely and accurately and that AR cash receipts are recorded in a cost-efficient, accurate and timely manner. The VP will record, analyze and monitor financial information over multiple divisions of the Company. The VP shall oversee KPI reporting, financial planning, budgeting and analysis, and preparation of the consolidated financial reports in a manner that ensures accuracy and compliance with company accounting policies and credit agreements. This position reports to the CFO and serves as a key liaison between senior management and corporate and operations teams.

- Oversee a team of divisional controllers, senior and staff accountants and other personnel responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close and consolidation.
- Publish financial analyses and reports with senior management.
- Oversee the preparation of annual consolidated and divisional budgets for multiple business divisions.
- Analyze budget to actual variances and communicate results with senior and executive management.
- Lead monthly financial meetings for discussion and review of monthly financial reports.
- Provide guidance and training to accounting personnel for proper internal and external financial accounting procedures and their application.
- Lead annual audit preparations and investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Monitor the maintenance and application of internal controls.
- Development new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Ability to train personnel on systems and processes.
- Assist CFO and other business leaders in due diligence work for potential acquisitions and lead the post-acquisition integration efforts.
- Act as internal accounting/finance consultant for business operations managers and IT.
Supervision
- Working with corporate Human Resources, build and develop talent on the team, understand employees’ career goals and provide coaching to get employees ready for advancement with the Company.
- Supervise and manage performance; ensure tasks are appropriately delegated and completed by monitoring performance and holding employees accountable for meeting expectations.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to senior team members. Ensure that managers hold their teams accountable with feedback to team members, deliver corrective action and discipline when necessary, and document all performance issues.
- Ensure employees adhere to company policies and legal regulations, engage HR when appropriate. Actively support all corporate policies and standard operating procedures.
- Manage conflict and crisis; proactively anticipate, manage, and constructively resolve conflicts and disagreements.

What You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field, CPA required. MBA preferred.
- 10- 15 years of accounting experience with a blend of public accounting and private company experience.
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
- Must have a strong work ethic; do what is required to meet deadlines.
- Must be team-oriented and able to fulfill and adapt to the requests of our internal and external customers.
- Ability to interface and communicate ideas effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks demanding of immediate attention, and to juggle multiple, on-going, concurrent responsibilities.
- Ability to work efficiently and maximize productivity.
- Commitment to integrity and ethical behavior and the proven ability to maintain confidentiality
- Expertise in the following computer programs: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision a plus.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times
