The Video Editor mixes and masters audio. Edits video footage to desired length and format, creates motion graphics, and completes color corrections. Being a Video Editor archives and stores all files, footage, graphics, and audio. Encodes final videos to desired size and format. In addition, Video Editor proficient using Adobe Creative suite and production software including After Effects and Final Cut and other editing software. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Video Editor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Working as a Video Editor typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Our team is looking for an experienced wedding videographer! We will need coverage for several dates in VT in 2024.
Our pay starts at $85/hr for shooting only (no editing required).

- Years of experience and estimate of number of weddings shot
- Full equipment list
- Website or social media accounts
- Long-form videos (20-40 mins) of 2-3 different weddings, including footage from the entire day
- Highlight film you have completed
- Personal email address to reach you directly
- Proof of Liability Insurance (Company Name, Policy #, Expiration Date)
If you do not have any long-form videos please send us links to view the raw, untouched footage of the wedding day’s key segments such as ceremony, grand entrance and toasts, including audio files.
Please only send videos where you were a solo or lead shooter.
All applicants must have the following:
- Two or more professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras or camcorders with a minimum resolution of 1080p (4K preferred) and the ability to shoot 24fps (60fps preferred)
- Professional-grade constant aperture lenses
- External field recorders, wireless lav mics, shotgun mic
- Tripods, monopods and gimbals or steadicams
- Fill light for indoor receptions
