The Video Editor mixes and masters audio. Edits video footage to desired length and format, creates motion graphics, and completes color corrections. Being a Video Editor archives and stores all files, footage, graphics, and audio. Encodes final videos to desired size and format. In addition, Video Editor proficient using Adobe Creative suite and production software including After Effects and Final Cut and other editing software. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Video Editor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Position Summary: Creative Video Editor
     
    Position Summary
    We are seeking a talented and Creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Creative Video Editor, you will be responsible for bringing our creative vision to life through compelling video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling, excellent technical skills in video editing software, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with other teams and contribute to the development of engaging video content across various platforms.
     
    Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with other teams to conceptualize and execute video projects from start to finish.
    • Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with project goals and brand identity.
    • Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and animations to enhance video content.
    • Ensure that all edited videos meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software.
    • Manage and organize video assets and project files for efficient workflow.
    • Communicate effectively with team members to gather feedback and implement revisions as needed.
    • Contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance the overall production quality of video content.
    • Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
    • Other duties as assigned.
     
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in film production, digital media, or a related field required.
    • Must have three to five years’ experience in related field.
    • Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work.
    • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
     
    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    ●      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    ●      Solid understanding of video production techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, and storytelling.
    ●      Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
    ●      Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in video editing.
    ●      A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring innovative ideas to the table.
    ●      High attention to detail.
    ●      Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
    ●      Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and related Google Office Suite comparable platforms.
    ●      Ability to manage multiple projects while being responsive to the needs of the division and peers, be able to prioritize effectively and exercise flexibility as needed.
