Job Summary:
Boise Wedding Films is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Videographer's Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our videographer in setting up and moving equipment, coordinating logistics, and ensuring smooth operations during wedding events. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about the wedding videography industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of videography equipment (cameras, tripods, lighting, audio gear, etc.)
- Provide support to the lead videographers during shoots, including handling and organizing gear, lens swaps etc.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure a seamless experience
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead videographer
Qualifications:
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent attention to detail and creative thinking skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Basic knowledge of videography equipment and techniques is a plus
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required
- Passion for videography and interest in the wedding industry
