Summary/objective The Videographer role will make digital components for use within training and marketing materials for use within the automotive industry. The person in this role will work within a team environment to provide training on the complex technology within today’s vehicles. This role also requires significant video production skills to create video, still, and augmented reality components for incorporation into materials across the Repairify brand.Essential functionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Perform assessments on best modality in which to create digital components.Create individual components on time and within budget.Partner with Subject Matter Experts in the development of storyboards and scripts.Maintain a high level of detail and quality in the production schedule as well as within each video production.Use industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, and Photoshop.Setup and maintain the video studio and equipment.Work with a team to set goals for all projects.Create storyboards and other rapid prototypes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Media Production or related experience.Minimum 2-4 years experience in the creation of digital elements.Strong video lighting, shooting, and directing skills.Strong video editing and motion graphic animation skills.Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Media Encoder.Experience working with DSLR cameras, cinema cameras, drones, gimbals and sliders.Confidence and creative problem-solving skills; exceptional collaboration skills and strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the automotive industry.Experience with asTech and Repairify products/services.Video/Graphic development certifications.
Supervisory responsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work environmentThis role will be based in our video studio in Plano, TX. Travel to other Repairify and customer locations locations may be required as well. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.Physical demandsThis job operates occasionally in a professional office environment with visits to various automotive repair shop environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance. Physical requirements also include occasional lifting/carrying of 25 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions.
