HDS SEEKS HANDHELD VIDEO OPERATORS TO SUPPORT A MILITARY TRAINING EXERCISE NEAR CAMP SHELBY, MISSISSIPPI

Responsibilities:

• The Handheld Video (HHV) Operator provides video support to training exercises by capturing event footage for review while blending into the surroundings.
• Will be recording simulated military training exercises using various types of video equipment; must also be proficient with data storage devices (memory cards, hard drives, etc.).
• The HHV operator must be able to wear appropriate clothing for the deployment regions such as video vests (provided), in addition to any other safety equipment as required by the training.
• Individuals will attend all safety briefings and comply with all safety instructions as well as perform other tasks as directed by Team Leaders and Program Leadership.
• Personnel will be required to operate a client-provided vehicle.
• Operate and maintain a Handheld Radio
• Operate and maintain a FREDI-2 GPS device (First Responder Enhanced Instrumentation)

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Reside within a 50-mile radius
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Desired (Not Required) Qualifications:

• Physically fit, with the ability to run and videotape training exercises.
• Experience using a handheld digital camera.
• Prior Military experience.
• Ability to work extended hours as necessary.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings & weekends.
• Ability to operate in high OPTEMPO environments.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 48 per week

• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Filming: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Little Falls, MN 56345: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
