This position is responsible for supporting logistics related to sourcing proppant, rental inventory management, billing, tracking, and maintaining rental equipment.
This position is located in Williston, North Dakota and reports to the Supply Chain Supervisor. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Level and salary commensurate with experience.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead the Procure to Pay (P2P) process for proppant supply across the basin, implementing cost efficiency initiatives to align with strategic objectives
Conduct sensitive contract negotiations, both on and off the Fort Berthold Reservation
Monitor market indexes influencing the assigned commodity
Foster partnerships with local and out-of-basin proppant suppliers
Identify and engage with potential new proppant suppliers within and outside the basin
Optimize proppant logistics considering supply costs and transload locations
Maintain strong relationships with Drilling, Completions, Facilities, Workover, and other field operations teams
Regularly communicate proppant goals and objectives to management

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Five years’ experience with Proppant sourcing and / or logistics
Ability to meet deadlines
Flexibility to work long and irregular hours, including office and field work
Ability to split time between office (60%) and field (40%)
Experience in developing and executing local sourcing strategies that drive strategic initiatives
Proven ability to maintain inventory control and ensure timely material delivery
Commitment to operational excellence with clear documentation and efficient processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail
High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in team environments with shifting priorities
Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company

maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
Five years of experience in the oil and gas industry
Experience sourcing proppant for an operator or frac service company
