POSITION:

An ASL Vocational Provider is responsible for coaching D/HH clients in-person or virtually (based on client needs) regarding a variety of topics. The pay range for this position is $18 - $23 per hour based on qualifications, service & experience. You will be working with Word, Gmail, Microsoft & Google Calendar on a regular basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instruct & coach clients in American Sign Language regarding needs for school, how to navigate a computer, internet research, job applications, resume creation, interview practice, how to be more independent & more.
• Complete & email a monthly report per each client on your caseload regarding each meeting
• Identify helpful resources for your client

REQUIREMENTS:

· At least 2 years of experience working with all populations of individuals with disabilities

· Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain upon hire)

· Must be Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) or pass an SLPI score of intermediate or higher

· Own a laptop/desktop with Microsoft Word & regular access to internet

· Must Have Reliable Transportation Valid Driver’s License, Current Vehicle Registration, Insurance

· Pass Background Screening & E-Verify

· Efficient computer skills & organization

· GED/High school diploma or College degree
