Voice Communications Analyst jobs in Boca Raton, FL

Assist in driving cross-departmental initiatives and special projects for our financial accounting, financial reporting, accounting policy, and tax departments. Current projects of focus are the International Fixed Asset Management and IFRS General Ledger initiatives. The objectives of these projects are to ensure that accounting transactions are properly recorded, posted, processed, and reported to ensure accurate presentation of the balance sheet and income statement for multiple global regions in compliance with IFRS, local tax reporting requirements, and internal financial accounting controls.

The fixed asset project includes the migration of local fixed asset sub-ledger details into our Great Plains ERP sub-ledger and the standardization of monthly accounting processing and review activities to ensure completeness and accuracy. The IFRS general ledger project includes migration of IFRS beginning balances to Great Plains, identification of US GAAP to IFRS adjustments, and design and implementation of processes to record adjustments and perform reconciliations.

• Participate in process improvement initiatives and projects. This includes evaluating the current processes, collaborating with functional teams to drive enhanced efficiency, and documenting the related functional requirements.
• Must be able to obtain a comprehensive understanding of current processes by working with cross-functional teams and evaluating alternatives for proposals to management.
• Participate as a member of the project teams for successful implementation.
• Work across various business functions to document and refine accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide assistance with certain key compliance activities including internal controls and related documentation.
• Work with large data sets including data transformation, tie-outs, formatting files for integration into IT systems, and data analysis.
• Work with multiple teams across multiple departments and markets to resolve questions and perform reconciliations and/or analyses
• Other projects and duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field of study;
• and 2 years of general accounting experience , data analysis/analytics, and process improvement experience required.
• and 2 years knowledge of GAAP and IFRS with at least two years of recent public accounting experience preferred.
• Great Plains or other ERP system experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge and advanced proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word,
• Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,619.32 - $59,756.59 per year
