    About the Opportunity

    Pennant Services is seeking an innovative and experienced leader to lead a new talent acquisition team and drive continued growth. The Director of Recruiting is a creative, service oriented, self-sufficient individual with a proven track record of success in recruiting hard-to-fill positions. As a key member of the Pennant Services HR team, this person is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the recruitment process and drive initiatives to attract, recruit, hire, and retain talent for Pennant and its service center departments. In addition to having direct recruitment responsibilities, this person will lead the implementation of an ATS, standardize effective hiring processes, drive results in all aspects of new talent recruiting, and supervise ongoing recruitment of new leaders through the CIT program. This person must have a deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices, including experience building an optimized candidate and hiring manager experience in both professional and high-volume recruiting capacities. This position plays a critical role in assessing and anticipating hiring needs in advance and ensuring we hire the best possible talent.

    The Director of Recruiting must be a collaborative leader with excellent communication skills in order to work closely with senior management, hiring managers, HRIS analysts, and human resource professionals to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, policies, and procedures. The Director of Recruiting will serve as a subject matter expert to affiliate agency recruiters and drive results through peer accountability and delivery of best practices.

    The position will be in-office at least 3 days a week with some travel expected.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    · Create, design, implement, and maintain an innovative talent acquisition program at scale.

    · Coordinate and align a diverse set of business stakeholders at all levels of our business.

    · Assess program and process effectiveness and demonstrate ROI.

    · Partner with HRIS and HR teams to develop tools and best practices.

    · Be a strategic partner, understanding the core business and unique needs of our service center and affiliate home health, hospice, home care and assisted living operators.

    · Demonstrate functional talent acquisition experience across all Pennant business lines and develop meaningful relationships with all stakeholders to build integrated communications and metric architecture that connects business units to overall organizational goals and talent outcomes.

    · Advise our service center and affiliate leaders on the implementation of progressive and results driven talent acquisition programs.

    · Provide stellar communication to service center leaders and teams (remote and local).

    · Embrace the mission and actively support the unique culture and core values of Pennant.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    · Minimum of 3 years’ full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

    · Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources.

    · Excellent listening and communication skills with diverse audiences.

    · Superior relationship management skills.

    · Critical thinking skills.

    · Advanced understanding of talent acquisition trends and best practices.

    · Experience with a growing company with multiple entities and geographic locations.

    · Ability to handle highly confidential information appropriately.

    · Enthusiasm, passion for working with people, social ease, and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with a variety of different people and personality types.

    · Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently with urgency and professionalism.

    · Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

    · Ability to provide direct, transparent feedback and develop relations of accountability within a shared resource role.
