In the role of Director of Perioperative Services, responsibilities involve the overall management of the perioperative areas, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for enhancing healthcare delivery in a rural setting.

The Director of Perioperative Services will have direct responsibility for managing the Perioperative areas, which include overseeing Sterile Processing, PACU, 9 Operating Rooms, 115 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs), and handling a busy department that experiences a case volume of approximately 650-950 per month. This role requires incorporating control systems that monitor workflow and ensure task completion to maintain a smooth operational environment. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as OSHA, CMS, and JCAHO is crucial. Additionally, the Director of Perioperative Services will create effective work plans that identify appropriate resources and processes, set priorities, delegate authority, and meet deadlines efficiently. 

Qualifications for this position include a valid and unrestricted Registered Nursing license, proven leadership experience in perioperative services, and a strong track record of managing complex teams.
