Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, analyzing data trends, and ensuring the efficient flow of production, materials and systems within our production facility . This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management practices and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to optimize inventory processes.
Duties
- Cycle counting of all products
- Review items at bays in IQMS after job is complete – analyze discrepancies and move inventory
- Working within IQMS to make adjustments, move inventory and create new labels as needed
- Analyze and adjust negative location quantities as needed
- Perform and analyze silo wip moves – prepare root cause analysis on large discrepancies
- Identify scanning errors, prepare root cause analysis and solution development with the Team.
- Create new processes or edit current processes that are found to not report inventory accurately
- Report to management as needed with any major inventory discrepancies\
- Manage containment area
- Perform Bill of Material verification
- Assist with year-end inventory
- Work effectively with team members at all levels of the company as a positive, professional example
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner consistent with our mission statement
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining and data analysis.
- Familiarity with production facility operations and best practices in inventory management.
- Knowledge of production planning processes and category management principles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of physical inventory tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments.
Physical & Work Space Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift (up to 25lbs), bend, squat, stoop, sit, etc. for long periods of time.
