Wafer Process Technician performs tests and experiments required for wafer processing. Sets up processing equipment and performs minor adjustments to equipment within guidelines. Being a Wafer Process Technician designs and executes test runs and disseminates results to facilitate engineering designs. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Wafer Process Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wafer Process Technician works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. IPEC currently has a First Shift opening for a Full-Time Electrical Technician in our Electrical Department. This is a Monday-Friday position (40-45 hours per week. Overtime paid after 40 hours).

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Layout and wiring of control panels
· Installation of conduit, termination and wiring of modular systems
· Control panel and system testing and troubleshooting
· Periodic start-up support at customer locations as required
· Maintain a well-organized and clean work area
· Comply with company policies, procedures, while giving special attention to safety
· Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
· High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required at minimum
· 2-4 years of electrical assembly or related experience/training preferred, but willing to train the correct candidate.
Other Skills and Abilities:
· Technical communication (oral and written)
· Ability to perform intermediate mathematics
· Understanding of electrical symbology and schematic diagrams
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Ability to navigate basic technology, phones, time clocks and other systems where applicable.
