Position Summary

A leading global supply chain management company of agriculture commodities for feed and fiber is seeking a self-motivated individual for our Eloy Warehouse team located in Eloy, AZ. This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

• Unload bales of cotton from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Participate in regular safety meetings.
• Maintain production targets.
• Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs.
• Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
• Run Loader to load containers.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Proven experience as forklift operator.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Excellent physical condition and hand-eye coordination to complete forklift operation tasks.
• Willing and able to work in hot, cold, and/or dusty temperatures with the proper safety equipment and clothing.
• Able to work a seven-day week schedule, with 12-hour shifts.
• Able to read numbers, align products, check material for quality, and concentrate on tasks for several hours at a time.
• Must be able to communicate verbally, observe with own eyes, read, and give and receive information through listening and conversing.
• Ability to identify which tools are necessary and safe for a particular job.
• Possess the mobility to use hands, arms, and legs to climb up or descend forklift.
• Able to stoop, bend, lift, squat, kneel, crouch and twist, as well as able to lift arms and hands with repeated use of forklift controls.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to learn at a fast pace and keep up with any and all changes that occur in the warehouse.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and follow safety instructions.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse workforce population.

Requirements

• One (1) year of forklift operating experience.
