Warehouse Helper jobs in Anderson, IN
The Warehouse Helper I performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory. Moves materials within a warehouse and completes other warehouse support tasks. Being a Warehouse Helper I may view or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other database. Operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. In addition, Warehouse Helper I typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Being a Warehouse Helper I works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities : SCOPE OF WORK :
Performs general warehouse duties including shipping / receiving, picking up and packing orders, processing orders in the software system, stocking and re-shelving materials, and other warehouse related job tasks as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responds to general inquiries as they relate to warehousing issues.
- Creates, reads, and interprets shipping schedules, job orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed to / from job sites.
Qualifications : WHAT YOU OFFER
EDUCATION : High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies / experience.
