Summary:

This position will be responsible for loading and unloading of structural steel.

Responsibilities:

· Ability to use and understand tracking system, delivery receipts and production labels to effectively plan.

· Locate product in the facility and load production on the truck.

· Handle the product in a manner that will not cause damage to the product or injury to self or others.

· Recognize product defects and notify supervisor immediately of any issues.

· When loading items, keep the weight of product evenly distributed on the vehicle.

· Perform general task assigned by supervisor.

· Load product on the truck securely enough to move vehicle out of loading bay and leave adequate room for the truck driver to properly secure load.

· Relocation of materials to various shop areas.

· Ability to operate an overhead crane and forklift.

Qualifications:

· Must have a valid Driver’s License.

· Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds.

· Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

· Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.

· Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
