In addition, Warehouse Helper I typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Job Summary:
The Warehouse Driver’s primary responsibility is delivery and pick up of parts on a specific route. The store route driver will deliver parts to specific customers on a daily basis and may make daily pickups from other stores. This person also may pull the parts that need to be delivered. In addition, this person is responsible for picking up returns from customer sites. The route driver is responsible for maintaining the company vehicle they use, ensuring it is in excellent condition. The store route driver’s secondary responsibilities consist of assisting in maintaining store appearance, security, safety and daily operational standards as set and assigned by the store manager.
Job Responsibilities:
· Ensure accurate, safe and timely delivery and pick-up of product on the route
· Pick up and deliver parts to customers
· Pick up and drop off freight at sister stores
· Complete paperwork accurately and on time
· Maintain the company vehicle in excellent condition by periodic washing, keeping the interior clean and organized and by checking engine fluid levels as required
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
· Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
· Average organizational skills
· Average verbal and written communication skills
· Familiar with store operating procedures
